Gary P
Recently moved into the area, and missing my old local falafel place. Can anyone recommend anywhere around East Dulwich that does good freshly made falafel wraps?Cheers! Jeremy
As in freshly made falafel? Nope. The kebab shop up by the Plough does falafel though. There's a Lebanese place in Cambwerwell which is actually called "Falafel", and looks a bit more promising. Gary P
Thanks! Sorry my query was maybe a little unclear - I sort of meant having the wrap made up as fresh, rather than having the falafel itself made fresh on the spot. So that's probably a little easier to come across! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/46296-falafel/#findComment-760972 Share on other sites
Rolo Tomasi
You could try the place in Peckham next to the Ali Baba Juice & Matcha (115a Rye Lane). Great Lamb & Chicken wraps too. haruki
Best place is the 'comfort and joy' stall on north cross road, but it's only there Friday/Saturday.Otherwise kebab and wine do a fairly disappointing one.I'm still on the search for someone who can top the Palestinian guys at Tachbrook street market in Pimlico. Nicola326
I second the suggestion for the 'Falafel' place in Camberwell, you'll find long but fast moving queues most lunchtimes. It is the best Falafel around by far. To be honest when I eat out in camberwell, where I sometimes work, it's my first choice, so addictive. rosietea
I third the recommendation for Falafel, it's one of the best and they do great and very cheap fresh juice. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/46296-falafel/#findComment-761104 Share on other sites

bornagain
Yes, Felafel is Camberwell. My daughter bought me one for lunch last Sunday - delicious! She says the fresh lemonade is to die for!
