Which is a palindrome of the Fat Larry song, and don't think that I didn't know, that you didn't know that I would know that.

Wouldn't we?

Zoom - just one look and then my heart went boom

Suddenly and we were on the moon

Flyin' high in a neon sky-y, oh-oh-oh-oh

Bang - just one touch and all the church bells rang

Heaven called and all the a-angels sang

Sunrise shine in a midnight sky-y-y, oh-oh-oh-oh

Zoom - you chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play-ay

The-e-en - my whole wide world went zoom

Moonbeams dancin' in the afternoon

Shadows flowin' as the roses bloom

Lookin' down on a wo-onderla-a-and, oh-oh-oh-oh

Smack - just one kiss and I was outta wack

All at once, there was no turnin' back

Oh so far above the brightest star-ar-ar, oh-oh-oh-oh

Zoom - you chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play

Zoom - you chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play

And the-e-en - my whole wide world went zoom

Not just a rainbow as we went flyin' by

Faster and faster, we were higher than high

For once in my lifetime, I was finally free-ee

And you came back to me

Oh-oh-oh-oh, zoo-oo-oom

You chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play

Oh-oh-oh-oh, zoo-oo-oom

You chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play

Oh-oh-oh-oh, zoo-oo-oom

You chased the day away-ay-ay-ay-ay

High-igh-igh-igh noo-oo-oon

The moon and stars came out to play

And of course this will be the first song to be played in the Boho Bar at 52 Lordship Lane.

I shall insist on it.

God speed the new bar application say I.

Went to see Fat Larry's Band and Fat Larry was ill

Ah, PGC I think I see where you're going with this. Or should I say, wit' dis.

You be sayin' dat Fat Larry be illin' when you saw him. One slick showman if I read you right.

Just the sort of thing the Boho Bar, 52 Lordship Lane needs to keep it from those bastards in the Lounge.

I wonder what Fat Larry would have made of the bar application if he'd been a magistrate?

I reckon he'd've approved.

I?m looking for somewhere to drink

But it has to have a philosophy.

Preferably it should be about people, minds and inspiration.

Positive values, open minds and inspiring thoughts if that?s possible.

Is the glass half empty or half full? That sort of thing..

With a subdued earthiness it should exude a welcoming ambience.

What I?m really trying to say is I?m looking for a home away from home.

In addition to a rustic bar, with quirky slogans and abstract

Brazilian art on the walls, I would like to relax in an, unbelievably perfect for private hire on any day of the week, Mayan Lounge where I can get my friends together for a cosy celebration..

I.. embrace life and live it me.

What would really seal the deal would be some random quotes by famous people of varying intellectual significance.

Anyone have any ideas?

    • I’m not a Gail’s fan but there’s no reason a business shouldn’t open on Christmas Day. However, nobody should be compelled to work the day which, given the widespread coverage of Gail’s questionable employment practices, has to be a possibility here.  The only business I ever use on the 25th is maybe a pub and that’s a rarity these days but buses running would be very welcome for visiting etc. But the swings in the park should definitely remain chained up. Are parks even open on Christmas Day?
    • To be honest, pal, it's not good being a fan of a local business and then not go there. One on hand, the barber shop literally next door to Romeo Jones started serving coffee. The Crown and Greyhound and Rocca serve coffee. Redemption Coffee opened up not far away, and then also Megan's next door to that. DVillage was serving coffee (but wasn't very popular), as was Au Ciel (which is). Maybe also Heritage Cheese, I don't know. There's also Flotsam and Jetsam doing coffee and sandwiches at Dulwich Picture Gallery in the other direction. The whole of Dulwich Village serves coffee. And yet on the other hand, there are enough punters to support all good coffee shops. With the exception of Rocca and Megan's (which are both big spaces) and C&G (which does coffee like everything else - slow and with bad service), all these places regularly get queues out the door. Gail's often has big queues and yet very few people crossed the street to Romeo Jones (which was much better)... Half the staff at Gail's are perfectly fine and efficient. The other half are pretty offhand and rude. It's certainly not welcoming or friendly service. But they're certainly hard working, and no doubt raking the money in for Luke Johnson...
    • Well according to a newspaper article, Gail’s is opening 10 shops in London,,, yup Dulwich is named 10/5 I seem to recall with others in London opening at 7 am…!, Guess that is to capture workers coming off all night shift. Offering free mince pies until they run out.. So very sad to hear about Romeo Jones… been a customer since the opening, any idea where Patrick has gone or details… please pm me.    What is going to be in its place…. Will be around in Jan…umm village is changing….
    • interesting the police said "the car was in demand at the moment" what make/model is that?
