david_carnell
Any good PYO farms less than an hour's drive away?Do toddlers enjoy this as much as I think they will? Bearing in mind mini-d_c is a fruit fiend and will consume his own bodyweight in strawberries if allowed to. david_carnell
It'll be between that and Hewitts I reckon - 'bout the same journey time.Touch wood he's never been sick yet so I don't suppose some soft fruit will do much harm. The following day might be a different story though! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47105-pick-your-own/#findComment-767039 Share on other sites
Otta
I told your better half about Hewitt's when we went last year.We were there a week ago getting loads of strawberries, ?2 per lb but obviously you don't pay for what the kids munch whilst picking. There were bugger all raspberries left but plenty of strawberries and lovely plumbs. Also veg like green beans and courgettes.Kids love it. Pretty easy on the train too. StraferJack
"Touch wood he's never been sick yet so I don't suppose some soft fruit will do much harm"It was the sheer amount of sugary fruit sitting heavy onhis stomace I was jokingly referring to - I know he's a good traveller Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47105-pick-your-own/#findComment-767557 Share on other sites
