Sterilising baby bottles on long haul flights

Hi

Has anyone had any experience with Emirates on a long haul flight with sterilising bottles?

We have MAM bottles which are simple to sterilise in a microwave. Will flight assistants help with this?

We've had a trial run with a disposable sterilised bottle but the standard teat was too fast for our 5 month old.

Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

When I travelled on a long haul flight I just sterilised 3/4 bottles and teats in advance then put them straight into sealed sandwich bags to keep them clean. Then I just used them as and when I needed them. Hope this helps!

That's what I did too and it worked and just pop them back in after and seal up the bag so no mess. Buy a powder dispenser (slimline brother max is good) and off you go! X

You could take Milton and a container in case of delays, but I def recommend taking enough pre sterilised bottles to last you the whole flight.

We purchased the tommy tippee disposable bottles for our flight, and never looked back! Use & throw away.

You can get cold water sterilizing bags in Boots which are amazing for flights, car journeys, holidays etc. Just need to bring along a bit of washing up stuff and then into the bag with water and they are and remain sterilized for up to 24 hrs. Good luck!
