ladynoon
Hello,I am interested in classes. I love in East Dulwich. But do you know of places where one can practice the piano locally since I don't have one at home?ThanksSultana Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47518-friendly-piano-teacher/#findComment-780539 Share on other sites
Cerutty
Hi Sultana,it is tricky to learn an instrument if you don't have something to practice on. You probably need a friend or neighbour with a piano who'd let you play. The only other solution might be to buy an electronic keyboard - cheaper than a piano, and you can also play with headphones if you don't want to disturb anyone.I could give you some advice about keyboards if you think of getting one. You'd be welcome to come and try a lesson and see what you want to do. I charge ?30 per hour (30 mins or 45 mins usually enough at the beginning.Give me a call if you want a chat.Peter 07952 314424 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47518-friendly-piano-teacher/#findComment-780544 Share on other sites
lorraineliyanage
There are often free or cheap pianos available on the Forum if you have the space for one. Do a search for free piano and see what turns up - there were two available recently.
