Congratulations to my daughter who received her A-level results today achieving A*, A and B grades and has secured her place at Birmingham University.


Congratulations to my daughter's friends who have also done extremely well.


And thanks to the Charter for being such a great school.

Thanks for starting this thread. The Charter has been a great school for my children. Daughter found out this morning at 7.30 she had secured her first choice of university. Felt a bit behind with everything as had been at King's A&E with my Dad until the early hours but I'm very proud.


Now begins three hard years of work but it will soon fly by. Two weeks ago went to my son's graduation from King's College, London. Just one more daughter to go through her GCSEs next year!

My son got his first choice too. He only went there for sixth form and I would highly recommend this school. For those of you who don't get your preferred choice of secondary school please be assured you have more choice at sixth form.

Congrats to your daughter and to The Charter for their best ever A Level results, 98% of pupils got their first choice of university! We are so lucky to have such a successful school locally.

My oldest son and friends get their GSCE results next week, here's to more great results.

We're delighted too. Congratulations to teachers and pupils at TCS. Minder - I think I can work out who you are from your post. Well done to your graduate son and best wishes to your daughter for the future. Hope all's well with your dad.

      From what I have gathered from Bradbury Oak residents  I have spoken with, that at a meeting with RNIB earlier in the year, none of the residents were in favour of new build. There is the implication that rent rises are anticipated to help towards building costs. Rent is currently in the region of £300 pw - as with most sheltered housing (council and Housing Association), Since these rents also include maintenance charges, utility charges - Housing Benefit is only applicable to the actual 'rent element' per flat.

      At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.

      When you dig into the site, there's an ancillary domain also involved in the system: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk;  and one pointed to by the latter as an example, stayintheknow.co.uk, which seems to have been set up by Lancashire.  All three long validated by Nominet and with same registrar.    metengage_etc_whois.txt
