Clockhouse - ?500 for a 2 year old children's party?

So I am still in shock horror at the quote to have my daughter's second birthday party on the first floor at the Clockhouse. ?500 MINIMUM SPEND to rent from 2pm to 4pm in late September.

Our flat isn't big enough to host a party and i would love to have (approx) 10 of her toddler mates to celebrate with her.

Can someone please put me out my misery of the ?500 trauma and help offer alternative venues/ideas to help me pick a venue?

Bouncy castle party at JAGS sports club for ?100? St Faith's community centre in Red Post Hill ?50 per hour - sure there are lots of other possible venues

Scout hall on bellenden road about ?25 an hour. Has a small kitchen as well, tables and chairs, toilets etc.

Think it's ?50 for upstairs at the old nuns head? Or ?25 ph (min 2hrs) for telegraph hill playclub

Peckham rye playroom (ex one o clock club) is available. ?30 ph minimum 3 hours.

The big room downstairs at the Albrighton is ?60 for 2 hrs party plus half an hour setting up and clearing and ?100 with soft play too including a bouncy castle.

Wildlife Garden centre - ?100 I think.

Swimming party at the leisure centre - ?75 or ?100 which includes 1hr in the pool and then the cr?che for a party for 45mins.

We had a great party at the dish and the spoon on Cheltenham road, food included/not as you like...

Second to the Albrighton centre - you get use of the kitchen, too - and the bouncy castle is brilliant entertainment.

Less than ?100 for soft play at peckham pulse (1 hour for up to 20 kids then free use of upstairs bit for birthday tea). Second nuns head for a great deal and great space. Not sure of prices but you could also try back room at the Montpelier or outside bit of the herne tavern.
