They're at the end of Rye Lane where the T junction west/left to Camberwell and right/east to New Cross in that canopied bit ( Peckham Square ? ) with the library behind and Peckham High St in front .

As long as it's proper Nescaf? - powdered not granules and in little tins not jars.

Perfect with cheese on toast.

Does anywhere round here sell coffee for less than ?2 a cup now?

Grove tavern/Cherry tree is hawking itself at ?1 a cup to bleary eyed commuters in the mornings now. They have even placed a sign in front of the Caff next door (closed for summer hols) advertising their beverages and succulent breakfast menu. cheeky

then again, GV is a hive of cheekiness, wot wiv argueably bogus charity shops appearing without any kind of shame

Oh please

No 'concept' tho ?

Their coffee is really quite good and the 2 guys and 1 girl (Marcus and his Gf or wife and another chap Yan; all Estonian, which may explain the mangled English)that own and run it are very friendly and genuinely into coffee. They also sell delicious homemade muffins, (which I ate a few of last summer before changing my regular route to work)

It's very easy to lazily troll and denounce them as 'hipster lice' but perhaps save it until you've met them and tried what they're offering? What do you say, Snorky?

They have expanded their toolbox, according to the unfortunate website.

They're at a stall, right?

If so, the coffee is actually really good (had one then had to turn right back round to get another).

Good luck to them.

But they need to get their money back from whoever designed that website.

    • They're a fringe party with totally leftfield policies. No one actually wants them in government and by the time of the next general election everyone will see them for who they are.    Their leader even offered a hypnotherapy session to a lady to increase the size of her breasts.  https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/zack-polanski-green-party-hypnotherapy-b2819071.html They are total cranks, just like Reform.
    • What do you base those statements on?
    • I suppose I'd assume that Councillor McCash, who is, as I recall, a self-confessed revolutionary Marxist, had hoped to take Southwark Labour down his chosen route - when he lost his leadership bid he must then have been looking for a party which shared his ultra-left views (ultra-left at least in the light of Starmer's interpretation of socialism). The Greens, for him, clearly fit that role. After that his timing was all about benefiting his chosen (new) party - at least he didn't stand for Labour and then defect giving the Greens an unexpected 3 year seat. As someone who doesn't share the wings of his political position I don't wish him well (politically) - but neither do I wish him ill as a 'punishment' for his defection.
    • Agree with all the sentiments above. Hope it doesn't change too much and above all I really hope it stays independent and avoids becoming the same as all the chain pubs in the area.
