cafe noodle customer service

So. 23 to 1 against on this thread so far.

This forum is full of criticisms of businesses for relatively minor perceived slights or transgressions. Yet relatively little is ever said about the behaviour of customers. Hiding behind the screen, untouchable. Ranting and frothing without retribution.

On Mon/Tues last week I called about ordering food for collection, but both times decided against because the wait was more than the usual 10 mins when I call - good for them to hear they ARE thriving, hardly the ailing business hinted at in the OP.
We went in yesterday and there were people being shown around by an Estate Agent - very obviously and quite obtrusive actually which clearly made the lovely woman who serves very uncomfortable. We had delicious food, the usual sweet service and left feeling very sad that they may be closing.

Have used Caf? Noodle over the years.

The staff there are very friendly.

Spoke with the staff last night. They now close at 10.00pm.

They will probably be gone within 3 months. another victim of greedy landlords demanding

extortionate rents.

Will miss it.

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
