new chef at Cherry Tree

Excellent meal at the Cherry Tree last week. New menu with plenty of fish. Sea bream meal was restaurant quality , generous portions and reasonably priced.

Also Pleasant garden at the back of pub

They are advertising for bar staff .. Again.

Can't even hang on to them. ??

Seems like no one is ever happy working there.

it is possible to eat well in there - if you eat just after a new chef arrives and if they are any good, you can suddenly find yourself thinking "I'll come back here"

And then, oooh about 24 hours later, the chef finds out some hard cold life-lessons, things go downhill and the cycle repeats itself
