Proof Reader wanted

Hi Claire

I am responding to your request for a proof reader. I worked at Saatchi & Saatchi for many years and needed to proof read copy for many, many ads over the years. I also have a law degree which for me, means having great attention to detail. I am currently a PA and again, need to have excellent attention to detail. I am extremely good with tenses and punctuation and will check your reports to the highest standard of English. English is my mother tongue. I cant stand it when a comma or apostrophe is missing, or used incorrectly.

As for rates, I am suggesting ?8 per 2000 (two thousand) words which is about a full A4 page of Ariel font, font size 12. This rate can be discussed so that we are both happy with the outcome.

I can do a report in a day if required but would work to your timetable/timescale.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes

Catherine

    • Couldn't agree more with these great reviews for Paul and his colleague Damian. We had an issue in which our earth and live wires had been installed the wrong way and Damian fixed it quicky and for a really reasonable price. Would definitely use again
    • I had this problem. The only way I could resolve it was by phoning the number of the letter. I was set up over the phone having already registered for an account. The instructions on the letter are not correct as a code needs to be inputted. I do now have my permit.
    • A friend of mine was into "skill swap" about 40 years ago. It wasn't within an organised scheme, she just offered services like help with painting in exchange for services received. She upset some people as they carried out their services for a living, I.e. for money. An organised scheme sounds much better.
    • Gosh, that is a blast from the past.  Friends in York were into this, he was an accountant and had things like decorating done in exchange.  Not sure if it was equivalent in terms of hours, and I recall HMRC being interested as it was a way of tax avoidance.   A link for a London wide scheme but have no idea of its popularity: https://www.londonwide.letslink.org/members/index.php
