Keep Fletcher as Coach, stuff the West Indies and Indian this summer. While doing so slowly introduce Peter Moores to take over from Fletcher.

There is no doubting that Fletcher has done a great job for English cricket. When he took over we were the second worst test playing nation, we are currently (and have been for a while) in second place. We shouldn't turn our backs on that success. Test Match cricket is what counts not the one day record??

According to the BBC website, Fletcher will stand down after the last world cup match on Saturday. There's a press conference in a while were this is expected to be announced. Just hope the players will at least say sorry to him, cos while he may have made some mistakes, he can't go on the the field and play! Hope the next coach is strong enough to drop the under performers!

Maybe the new regime will realise that, against decent opposition, Flintoff just isn't good enough to bat no.6 in Tests (and probably ODIs too for that matter). He got away with it for a while, but those feet are made of lead. It's Botham all over again.

Looks like we have leaked too many runs..... It was a shame to see Lara go out on a whimper. I was looking forward to him coming over here in the summer and twating our bowling all over the park.
