Thanks for that Giggi. If I don't get at least one declaration of love a day myself is steam. Really.

If it wasn't for yourself and TLS...

And don't for one moment think I don't appreciate the doing I get from you LuLu. And KK.

And from all the rest of you beautiful people.

It's that, and sometimes only that, that gets me out of bed of a morning. Has anyone a tissue?

HUGS to all.

TLS, like Monte Cristo you'll always count.

Annasfield, I'm gutted. Couldn't be more gutted. It's 'gutmans' so far as I'm concerned.

I beg you to reconsider being back in love with me. And I'm putting a lot of 'beg' into it. Really.

Imagine Kramer off of Seinfeld. That sort of begging. Straight up.

Honest.

Look Annasfield, even a 'yes, OK I quite like you' would do.

Not that I'm 'needy' or anything.

Really.

I say Annasfield, tone it down a little, there are, after all others present.

Still, glad to have you back on board.

Sending HUGS.

    • This is where I sit too. A two day event is bearable. Three tests my tolerance. Finding the right balance on size, noise and impact is where I contribute to the consultation process. BUT, as I wrote elsewhere, every year the GALA organisers ask/ push for more, and deals have already been done with the council before it gets to public consultation stage. It is also worth pointing out that when a licence was first granted, the orgnaisation was different (We Are the Fair), one of the company directors lived literally next to the park (she left when it became GALA) and the current form bears no resemblance to original ethos/ vision sold to the council and licensing committee. This needs to be pointed out and I am fairly confident local councillors would also support a pushback on any further expansion. We have local elections next year, so councillors ears will be open.
    • Niko was really great. He fixed my blocked shower very quickly, was great at communicating and a lovely guy to talk to. And he doesn't charge the earth!
    • Not really sure why SE22 is getting upset about Brockwell Park.  I expect more people around here attend the festivals than are inconvenienced by it.  But it supports my view that many like to complain even when not directly affected. Football grounds move.  Attendances change.  Demographic too,not old blokes in flat caps or boys in short trousers with rattles.  Arsenal attendances at the Emirates are over twice what they were in the late 80s at Highbury.  Much more disruption in N1 nowadays.  DHFC tripples what they were 15 years ago, but good news is much quieter than the past.
    • The School doesn't have any supplementary forms as of admissions from September 2025. So anyone can go now, it's a nice school!
