Interesting. Looks like it's taking over the "Beautiful Pizza Boy" site. Hopefully an improvement!

That's bloody disappointing to say the least. The one cuisine type we seriously lack, and it now won't be happening. Any idea why Foxy? What alternatives are on the table?

Louisa.

There still isn't a Pizza place that makes my dad as happy as Addomme in Streatham Hill! They do the best pizzas, have to be sourdough, have to be wood fired and light dough and delicious! Franco Manca is good but put me off with their raw garlic on my fave topping - kept me up all night! Haven't tried 400 rabbits yet and this new one does intrigue me somewhat - hopefully it's as good as Addomme so I don't have to drive to Streatham when my parents visit!

Has Duck Egg closed? It's name is no longer above the front, and it hasn't seemed to be open during its usual opening hours lately.

If so, does anybody know what is replacing it?

There is a For Sale sign up, but I'm not sure if that is for the shop or whatever is above it.

There is now a notice on the door saying there is new management and a change of name.

    • Personally I feel its a shame for the tree. The bridge looks pretty badly damaged-I just hope it does'nt mean the entrance from Dulwich Common/Lordship Lane will be closed for ages while they fix it.
    • This is such a shame for the bridge.  I wonder if anyone saw it fall, and when it was (at night?) Is the walking path through the woods still accessible?
    • Free range chickens &/ organic whole chickens are around £15-20 retail these days…  Given their credentials in hospitality etc I’d assume Norbert’s has sourced decent quality chicken, wholesale. The fact they aren’t saying anything about that on the menu or website seems strange…  if it were true it would help justify the price. Chicken & 2 x Chips - would work out £10.50 a head between 4… not bad if it’s decent quality chicken and seasoned well with care & skill
    • I have no lawn but still trying to get wild flowers to germinate. After a couple of years sowing seeds I've finally managed to produce some ox eye daisies. Still trying to succeed with cornflowers, vipers bugloss to name but a few. A couple of foxgloves are coming up. Its a gradual process for which we need lots of patience. Don't forget after No Mow May it's Let it Bloom June.
