There has been a spate of muggings today in Dulwich, up to 7 separate incidents including in Croxted Road, near Sydenham Hill station and Turney Road, some as early at 6.45am this morning.

There was a group of 6 young men - mid 20s or so - riding 3 mopeds in pairs.

Neighbours may want to be more vigilant than usual leaving home early in the morning or returning home, especially so when mopeds are heard/sighted.

Police advice is to not walk along on mobiles, keep valuables out of sight and do not use headphones so as to remain alert to what is going on around you.

Our kids' school sent an email round about this as it was happening around school drop off time and close to 2 schools. How scary for anyone who was mugged and how scary that children might see something like this.I hope the victims are okay.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
