Dulwich Village pre-school

My daughter went to the pre-school and my son is currently there. In both cases I turned down school nursery places so my children could carry on attending the pre-school. It's a beautiful setting, great outdoor play areas in the garden and on the veranda.

The staff are great, brilliant with the children. The lady who is in charge comes across as being a bit brisk and snappy but she is great with the kids and keeping everything organised.

The staff have been great with my son especially who has been a bit slow in speaking and are really doing all they can to help and improve his learning skills.

They organise lovely events, lots of crafts and cooking and gardening etc.

The came up with a new initiative to tach rugby to the children and it's been so successful that southwark council is rolling it out across nurseries throughout southwark.

If there is anything in particular that you would like to ask send me a pm.

    • Pot holes feel like they’re becoming more of an issue (based purely on my perception, don’t know what data there is). Even worse outside London imo. I suspect as Mail says, heavier vehicles are part of the problem (both SUVs, but also EVs which are generally heavier than ‘conventional’ cars).  You can use the fixmystreet app to report them (and other street maintenance issues).
    • Prior to the LTNs do you have many examples where the results of consultations were not acted upon? Seems to me the council is picking and choosing when they action the feedback from their constituents.......   Have you looked at the results from that, if not, tale some time to have a look, its quite enlightening..it seems the majority do not think the changes will have the desired effect....but you know it's not a refendum so the council has chosen to ignore the feedback of constituents. They must be assuming full responsibility for ignoring residents feedback- clearly they think they know what's best for us. If it all goes wrong let's see if they take responsibility!   Earl, here's a question for you (and i know you wont answer it but lets see)...why do you think the council has never asked a yes/no question to local residents about anything to do with the LTNs - wether they exist or whether we think the changes they have suggested (using our money) are needed/worthwhile?
    • What other matters of policy would you have decided by referendum, or is it just the one you feel strongly about? 🙄 We live in a representative democracy for good reason. After Brexit I thought this would be even clearer. We’ve had local elections since the LTN came in and those who introduced it were returned to office. You may want to revisit a debate that finished 3 years ago, but it isn’t going to happen. You need to move on. …still no one willing to defend the claims in One Dulwich’s latest missive I note. 😂
    • Please describe the missing item to me, and If the description is correct I let you know where to collect it. If noone responds I will bring it to the police in the next few days.
