What to give my 7 yr old niece for her birthday?

I'd really appreciate some ideas. I don't get to see her very often, maybe twice a year so I don't know likes and dislikes too well. Not so easy for me to find out either. But would like to get get something she won't find either way too young or too old.

My only clues are that she's 'quite grown up for a 7 yr old', liked pink and girly things when younger and loves One Direction....

Any good ideas for things majority of 7 yr old girls might like?

Shoppable do. Great princess duvet cover with tiara pillow. Other places sell it too but shoppable seem to be the cheapest.
