enjoy
Hi everyone,I know it is a bit boring and repetitive but l am really stuck.I have nephews in Switzerland (german), girl 14y and a boy 12y.What can l give them for xmas. Needs to be not language related (so no books),and not to heavy otherwise posting gets too expensive.Last year I bought a case for her iphone (could repeat that). But the boy is obviously not into Lego anymore and hasn't got a phone yet.ANY ideas??? womanofdulwich
This is a very tricky age to buy for, if they dont live in a big town and like nature how about something gardening/ wildlife/ walking? the only swiss children I met this age range were into plants and flowers etc, BUt not sure how true that is for the whole of the country. clothes? sox/ pjs? treehugger
I buy Amazon vouchers in the appropriate currency for all young relations abroad and ask them to let me know what they have bought (I refer it if they buy books, but they don't have to). Then they get something they want, no postage required and very easy to do. lillyanginger
A sports bag with London motive, a rucksack, a London shirt - hoody, a wash bag...I would not go with Lego anymore unless you know he is still into a specific type of Lego. Boys at that age could very well still love it or think they are 'too grown up' for it.
