I speak Turkish. I wish I had been there.

Foxy

And, with a S?ghegyi furmint (2011) that also accompanied a starter of six Galway Bay oysters on the half-shell, I had parsley-and-ricotta agnolotti, from Burro e Salvia, with coarsely ground black pepper and (yes!) butter and fresh sage, along with lightly poached asparagus spears. I feel so... dirty. So... posh. It won't happen again.

Fox you speak fluent Turkish? I've got limited Turkish from trips to Istanbul in the 70s/80s. When I say limited, it's exceptionally limited ha. KK I must have been in just before you then there were two guys in when I was there, you really wouldn't miss me, in fact youd probably see me in there and think I had issues with alcohol (always off my face when I'm in there).

Louisa.

No I'm not fluent . I did 3 years at college

2000 - 2003 I know how to speak it but difficult when

They speak back to me. I have to think about

What I want to say. When I'm out in Turkey

I start to pick it back up

I know enough Turkish for to stop people

Pestering me.

I was not in k&w tonight. I'm in the EDT

Not eaten in yet. I did ask whether you could bring back the cartons for refilling and they said yes, they hoped people would. Should offer a discount if you do... Still hoping they start offering a wider range of non-meat options too, bit sparse so far when I've been in.

    • You may have more success posting on ED facebook….personally, not a fan  of social media but where I have moved to in the country, this seems to be the main way  of communication. A suggestion for you - well a couple actually - there is a cafe at the edge if Telegraph Hill which might be worth a shot with a pizza stand attached - from memory think it is called White Rabbit or something like that. Cafe has odd evenings when they have music  as well. Not sure if you are to young but give them a go. Get some leaflets/cards done and pop through letterbox or on car windscreen in local area offering your services to clean cars… sure you have done this already. Wish you all the best.
