Keef
Wasn't saying budgets effected this case, I meant that suing takes away money that would be better spent on other people's health care. *Bob*
Sueing the NHS is just nonsense.Put more money in, don't contribute to taking it out - for your own financial gain. Try to raise the standard in professional healthcare, not make the staff cack themselves because every time someone makes a mistake (big or small) there's a call instantly put-in to claims4-U so that some weaselly lawyer can cream a wedge of cash off the NHS just so you can buy a new car. Does a new car make you feel better? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5185-jade-goody/page/10/#findComment-196978 Share on other sites

daizie
yes i know, but surely the principle is far more important . Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5185-jade-goody/page/10/#findComment-196989 Share on other sites
*Bob*
What principle? Oooh, it's not about the money.. I'm sueing the NHS / Police / Council / so that lessons can be learned. But obviously I'll keep the money.. as much as I can get my grubby hands on. Nice, thanks. daizie
Oh calm down. The principle being, that a young woman with symptoms of cervical cancer admitted herself to hospital numerous times over 4 years, and each time was sent home and told it was nothing. If that happened to someone you love, what would you do then? *Bob*
Well I suppose I'd sue the NHS for every penny and get a nice new car, a holiday, an enormous widescreen tv and maybe some new clothes out of it. Job done. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5185-jade-goody/page/10/#findComment-196996 Share on other sites

Keef
How about letting the NHS use the money to treat cancer patients? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5185-jade-goody/page/10/#findComment-197022 Share on other sites
Moos
This doesn't make sense. So Jade had more several abnormal smears, and is treated for precancerous changes of the cervix. And she's asked to come in for treatment. Regardless of the ignoring the letters bit, when she does come in for treatment with bleeding and pain she's sent home? I don't think both stories hang together. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5185-jade-goody/page/10/#findComment-197036 Share on other sites
daizie
so it seems. onthe landing
I understand, three years ago, during one collapse, she was screened for bowel cancer but not cervical cancer ...
