disposing of a printer

does anyone know how I am meant to dispose of a printer or can it go in the normal bins?

You should either take it to the refuse and recycling centre off the Old Kent Road or book a bulky waste collection.

Unfortunately the electrical recycling bin is no longer there. As you have probably been hearing the scrap price for recycling bins has gone through the roof, as result criminal gangs have been stealing them ( and discarding the contents over the highways! ). Some of these Northern European gangs are even melting them down and reforming into 2 or 3 smaller bins and selling them on. If you are buying a second hand recycling it is accompanied by the correct paperwork, if you can't put recycling in it then its likely to be a fake or "a mini"

Hand it in at Sydenham library. They take stuff like that and recycle.

PC World on Old Kent rd have taken my old stuff for recycling, I think those stores are obliged to now.
