Curious advice on the outside of a Hot Chocolate Pudding that I baked for my Mum whilst she was staying with me

"Caution - after heating contents may be hot" - After heating I blumming well hope they would be !!!

Almost as bad as the side of the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes packet "May contain Nuts" again useless information that should be obvious by the name of the product (then again)

Poor lamb. You got a raw deal there didn't you. Don't let it deter you from being a good citizen.

What are the positives though? Are you using spell-checker?

But this is not as good advice as the 'serving suggestion' on certain tinned products.

Salmon for instance, the suggestion entails opening the tin and putting the conrents on a plate.

Though I have seen a variation involving a lettuce leaf.

I think that was an 'advanced serving suggestion' though.

Yes Spartacus, cheer up Whitey.

Thanks Giggirl, not using spell checker as the Latin translation version is a bit flakey, Positive thoughts are that a girl in ED thinks I am a poor lamb... >:D giggirl Wrote:

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. • Deptford Green and Elm Green anecdotally have a more realistic and compassionate to kids differing needs. Whether that is still the case i'm not sure. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
