Bic Basher
From what I can gather, the 63, 176, 197 and P13 aren't running at all today. The rest are running some kind of a service, although I ended up getting the 40 as the gaps in service on the 185 are huge. Dun
Hi sorry for late response forgot to click on "send replies" button.Help-Ma-Boab: I walked down past Kings hospital, left on to Camberwell New Road and then strainght, past Oval, Vauxhall, across Vauxhall Bridge. I double-checked timings on the Map My Run app on my phone and saw that I started it from Denmark Hill station so add more time for Peckham Rye. Still worth it!Jeremy: see aboveJessie: see above and I walked fast, an average pace of 7.1 kphSomeone I know lives on Ondine and works in Pimlico and walks there and back every day. She says it takes her 45 mins each way. Her points were that it was much more pleasant then overcrowded public transportation; it is healthy exercise; it is free; and you know exactly how long it will take unlike breaking down buses/trains/cars/burst pipes etc. Must say that after trying it I was pleasantly surprised and would do it again except when it is raining! Help-Ma-Boab
Thanks Dun. I reckonI could cut through to Camberwell a more direct way from Peckham Rye. Might give it a go when mornings get lighter.Dun Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Hi sorry for late response forgot to click on> "send replies" button.> > Help-Ma-Boab: I walked down past Kings hospital,> left on to Camberwell New Road and then strainght,> past Oval, Vauxhall, across Vauxhall Bridge. camberwell70
Take a left at Coldharbour Lane, and then a right. The side streets will take you, via Myatts Park and the ambulance station in Foxley Road, virtually to the Oval without going near a main Road. It will also cut 15 minutes from your walking journey and is a far more interesting walk!
