EDoriginal
Hi - having grown up in East Dulwich, I no longer live in the area and find myself organising a birthday party for a relative in the area but all the pubs/halls etc seem to have changed dramatically! Are there any places anyone on here would recommend around East Dulwich for a party for around 50 people? Nice room above a pub would be ideal open to other ideas. Is a pretty young 60 so not an issue if the pub downstairs was full of trendy young professionAl types who are new to London (not sure if any other type of place exists in ED now?!)Thanks very much in anticipation Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53624-venues-for-60th-birthday-party-suggestions/ Share on other sites
missse22
Albrighton centre (opposite Dog kennel hill sainsburys ) have an upstairs room or main hall down stairs they both come with kitchen to prep food. Or try the function room / bar area at Hamlets health club next door to dog kennel hill sainsburys. Hope this helps. bli
Not east dulwich but maybe close enough- the Crooked Well in Camberwell has a room upstairs for private hire, plus great food. Cora
East dulwich constitutional club....they have a snooker room and might even let you use the bowling green?! (I don't know if that is separate or not) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53624-venues-for-60th-birthday-party-suggestions/#findComment-817060 Share on other sites
Beaky
Slightly further out but Belair House in Se21 is lovely and has a great room for a party. The Cricket Pavillion at Dulwich College can also be hired out and is set in lovely grounds (not sure what time of year the party is) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53624-venues-for-60th-birthday-party-suggestions/#findComment-817076 Share on other sites
