holiday ideas for easter?

I think I have left it too late ... but I'm hoping to go away over the easter bank holiday weekend, or any time in the week 1 - 8th April (when our childminder is away). We have a 2 year old and would prefer to go somewhere within a couple of hours' drive of East Dulwich.

Can anyone recommend somewhere? My dream would be a cottage by the sea, but really anything that is toddler friendly and a change of scenery would be great.

Please check out air bnb, they do great cottage getaways and locations can be by the sea. We went to Whistable in Kent and rented a lovely little fishermans cottage right on the sea.

Suncamp (just the other side of Dover have some brilliant campsites with Lodges. Great facilities.

thank you - that sounds great but I can't find it using a google search. There is suncamp.co.uk, but it doesn't look like they have any sites in the UK. Can you send a link?

Airbnb is a good call - just found a couple of lovely little cottages in Dorset on an organic farm at a very reasonable cost of ?65 per night - am going to book this week. If you can stretch your drive to around 2.5 hours Dorset really is a lovely place to visit - Jurassic coast, Abbotsbury (swannery, children's farm, sub-tropical gardens), lovely walking along the cost - up Golden Cap etc.
