Were these lights ever mended?. Am sick of waiting a red light when there's no bus in sight and when the bus light is red, the buses swerve into the car space and then their lights go green and the bus has to wait, as well as us motorists
LOVE the comment the councillor made about the rights of busses over other traffic. Meanwhile and since this time, the Oval area now has no bus lane, as the bus lane was sacrificed for dedicated cycle lanes. Obviously that was TfL and not Mr Barber. Anyway, good luck fixing this one again James.

Still not working properly. We wait here numerous times everyday along with hundreds of other road users, needlessly queuing with our engines running whilst invisible and silent buses go past. I still think it's down to the trigger pad just up the road. Please fix!

    • What would be the point of that?  It may work in a  USA style mall where there’s maybe a single point of entry and armed security people.  But here financially, it wouldn’t work.
    • I think there's a similar square-type thing around Queens Road Peckham, which has stayed in pretty good nick. It was certainly a vast improvement.  Having said that, it would be terribly sad if small businesses suffer in the process. I love the fruit 'n' veg stalls & shops on Rye Lane, and the atmosphere in general atmosphere and very much hope that a new station square and the stalls aren't mutually exclusive.
    • Shoplifting is such epidemic now that it justifies the introduction of facial recognition facilities at the entrance to retail premises. With immediate access to  a database of all known shoplifters, such a facility could sound an immediate alert to management - provided of course that removal of face masks was a condition of entry.
    • Hello,  Myself and my partner are looking to welcome an F1 Cavapoo into our home in the next few months. We are struggling to find breeders that we trust that is in driving distance. We wondered if anyone has any recommendations for reputable licensed cavapoo breeders or can put us in touch with anyone? We are happy to drive up to 4 hours from London for the right one.  Many thanks
