sophie_e_down
Have people received their statement / payment schedule for 2015/16?I've tried to get in touch with Southwark about it loads of times and nobody gets back to me!I go away on the 20th March and don't come back 'til mid-April and obviously the first payment would be due 1st April... but can't pay it unless I know how much it's for! simonethebeaver
We've got our letter. It's apparently slightly less than last year so if you set up the DD for the same as last year you can be assured you'll make enough of a payment while you're away. redfan
You don't need to 'set up' a Direct Debit. If there was one in force for this year it will just carry on with the latest figure. Not so with a 'Standing Order'. That does have to be set up each time the payment changes. Simon Cyrene
Don't forget you can insist on paying by twelve monthly instalments instead of the usual ten.Has to be requested by 15th April. Callie
Thanks, it's good to know there is that option as it is rather a lot. Got my new statement yesterday. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/55416-council-tax/#findComment-831411 Share on other sites
