pablogrande
Hi my company is ten years old later this year and we are thinking of ways to celebrate. One thing we were thinking of doing is getting a load of goodies off our suppliers and getting a charity involved to run a competition with all of the proceeds going to them.We install high end home cinemas, lighting systems and that sort of thing and I think we could muster up around ?50,000 to ?100,000 prize so the winner could have an amazing array of goodies installed in their home. My question is would many people be interested in buying tickets and if so how much would you be prepared to pay?thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5612-what-would-you-pay-to-win-big/ Share on other sites
matthew123
Well you'd be competing with the National Lottery and Euromillions - so I guess you'd need to make your ticket pot value to prize ratio better value for money, so I'd want to know that ratio (which you'd have to do by capping the number of tickets on sale). Jeremy
Make the tickets ?1 each and sell loads and loads of them... but try to sell most people strips of 5 or 10 at a slight discount. That way, you still make a bit of money from people who don't have much cash but want to make a charitable donation... and those who want to increase their chance of winning and/or feel a bit more flush can spend more money. HonaloochieB
I'm not really sure, it would depend on what was on offer and the price and number of tickets.Oh, that's what you're asking isn't it?My only tip is whatever the cost of the tickets, make it in guineas. That's class, that is.
