Well I must say, song game is shot to sh*t today isnt' it. And Jah it's no good blaming Brendan as you haven't been a fine upstanding forumite yourself today have you? As things have gone from bad to worse, I think I'll continue that trend and post something by the Spice Girls.

Of course Hibbs could do so, mind today certain people, naming no names, misbehaved themselves somewhat on here.

It's the school holidays and of course certain EDHeifers run around and get all Peter Kay 'bull mastiff' sweaty excited.

So let's start again and forget about Brendan, BigBadWolf, WoofMarkThe Dog, Brendan, Jah Lush, Brendan, Brenda N, Dan Bern and did that Sue get involved?

Oh and let's not forget Branden, I'm not saying or suggesting he was a ringleader, any more than NN Beard might be.

But you just never know. Well do you?

    • Sometimes what's biting you can be identified by the type of bite, and if there's more than one bite, where they are and how close together, for example. You could try taking a photo (or getting someone else to) and posting it on something like  ChatGPT? Or just googling pictures of insect bites in the UK? I know people put ChatGPT down, but I've recently discovered it, and it has been unexpectedly brilliant for a wide range of different things. Including reminding me what a particular cloud formation was called when I uploaded a picture (along with lots of interesting additional information about these particular clouds!) It's free unless you need a load of more complicated stuff doing. Even if it tells you you've used your quota for the day (or whatever), it generally just lets you continue on regardless, in my experience!
    • Have you got an old VHS player or camcorder gathering dust in a cupboard? If it still works (bonus if you’ve got the cables), I’d love to give it a good home instead of it ending up in landfill. Happy to collect at a time that suits you. Thanks in advance!
    • The Ivy House, London's first community owned pub, thriving, lots going on, and just down the road in Nunhead! If this is the first time she has been to London, loads of things to see, obviously, so it would depend on her interests and how long she is here for? The more famous "sights" might appeal more than local landmarks, or vice versa,  but maybe make a list of possibilities and  leave it open until she's here? Some may also depend on the weather, of course, and what is open when over the holiday period. Hope you all have a lovely time!
    • I gather St, Christopher's in Penge has closed down as landlord has increased fees, so they are looking for alternative venue. The LL store frequently passes over stock to the other shops as they receive a large number of donations. Having had an uncle and mother who died in St Christopher's, we are firm supporters of the hospice. I believe, but correct me if I am wrong. that 1 million pounds is raised annually from the shops. The Hospice itself has a cafeteria in their Anniversary Centre which is opened daily to the public. Prices are very reasonable. When my mother was in the hospice, family took it in turns to have a hot meal in the café. The Hospice is known world wide for its palliative care work and offers training. When I was working, I attended a few of the courses at the hospice as I was the lead for my team in regards to end of life care.
