> What became of the broken hearted - Jimmy Ruffin

I'll not challenge it as inaccurate, as lots of posts have tumbled down the ravine since.

But it's What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted?

The hurt is very much present, not historic, as is apparent from the lyrics and the combination of hurt, stoicism, acceptance and despair Jimmy R manages to wring from his vocal chords. I don't know if it's an odd combination, but that's what I hear every time.

Definitely not having a pop SRisky, just proffering an opinion on a great song.

    • It's more likely a buzzard – one or two have been seen in recent years, particularly over Dulwich and Sydenham Woods. You don't have to go far to see them regularly – Addington, West Wickham and Biggin Hill, for instance.
