What does one need to do to get a table at The Lordship?!

Come on people those were three assumptive and unhelpful responses. Why would you assume anyone was able to go in person? And state it in, errrm such an abruptive way.

Although I would love to be able to go in person, that is not practical for me this week. I do not live in close proximity to this venue and personal circumstance will not allow me to this time. Shame but fact. I do make reservations in person, but I can not do so on this occasion.

At the end of the day, you should be able to phone or email somewhere to get a reservation and not have to go in, in person. I am simply trying to support a new local business.

They have always responded straight-a-way to my email enquiries!

Had supper there last night with two friends, one veggie, the food was excellent as was the service and it was busy, with people coming in quite late for food!

Think Sandi Togsvig looked happy there too!!

I was genuinely trying to be helpful....

They might be busy serving customers.. How would you feel if you were waiting to be served

and they were constantly on the phone or answering emails or looking at facebook...

You need to be patient.

Yes you should, but your experience seems to show that in this case you can't.

I made the assumption that you lived reasonably close by based on the fact you're planning to go there and you've called it a local business.

Wasn't suggesting that going in person is the ideal, but figured popping in to tell them their phone never gets answered might clue them in to potential lost business.
