People on training courses who write down EVERYTHING that is being said and discussed when handouts are provided. They then ask a stupid question in the last 5 minutes and delays everybody's exit from said training. Arrrgh, and I've got a hangover to arrange.

Some of the few things the bastards haven't stuck pre on the front of yet.

Pre grated cheese

Pre baked potato

pre watched TV

Pre baked beans

Pre fried beans

Pre season tickets

Pre born children (orphans)

Pre arrived trains

Pre killed victims

But it will come. Sorry to be so pre prior.

people are idiots.

when wishing to express anger or joy, they write things like RAAAAAGGGEEEEE - which we all can see is clearly pronounced 'raggy' (only a bit shoutier), and thus makes no sense in the context, or LOOOOOVEEEEE, which we understand from the rules of English to be pronounced 'loovy'.

Please learn how things are pronounced.

And Turmeric. Turmer-fu*k*ng-ic. See that r? It's right f*%@ing there!

Agreed. Any time I go to a "quality" restaurant, I wear a sign around my neck that says "Nil foam by mouth".

That stretch of Copeland Rd where you go round the bend (near a car wash) and meet the junction of Consort RD. It never fails to send the willies up me, especially turning onto consort into oncoming traffic with buses and all sorts. It's an accident waiting to happen.

    • Being scammed is horrible.  So first of all, sympathies to you there but fair play for the details and the extra thought on subsequent posts and additional comments from others  - genuinely helpful    seeing a generic “I got done - be careful” is the kind of thing we all nod along with but think wouldn’t happen to us.  But I feel these extra details would inform any potential future experience I might have and might save me money and hassle
    • BRILLIANT.  Sorry, I whispered, "brilliant"!
    • I wonder if there is a compromise in that all those attending wear headphones with a special code so they can bluetooth with a central device that streams the music to them, so residents do not have to hear it? there are 'silent' club events I believe. It would not mitigate the weeks of build and deconstruction but is there a case to be made that if you want the privilege of attending this event outside and 'nestled' in the park then the compromise is to have it on phones. This way you show you care for the nesting birds and the environment.
    • Big shout-out to the  lovely ladies at Dolled Up beauty parlour, at 209 Lordship Lane, who resolved a courier mis-delivery problem for me. These stunning ladies have  warm hearts and a fantastic  sense of humour, combined with a great community spirit. I wish them well in their new business at 209 Lordship Lane.
