The police and IPCC claim there is no CCTV footage.

This in the country in the world with the greatest number off CCTV cameras, and in the capital of that country, in one of that capital's most monitored districts.

How convenient.

They are not protesters they are anarchist's, this is why the BBC all but ignored the protest's instead choosing to focus on Gordon brown saving the world. A rag tag collection of mobile phone footage, a smattering of CCTV and the odd still photograph of the police beating the crap and in some cases commiting manslaughter does not mean that any of this is true if it was do you not think THAT THE BBC WOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE SCENE, so therefore myself and Huginought can only conclude that this is all a conspiracy theory whipped up by a minority group of unwashed hippies !!!

(irony - obviously)

Jeez AfN, you take disagreement personally don't you? Big Hugs. :)

I didn't quite understand your stream of consciousness stuff there, are you suggesting that I think the Tomlinson case is a conspiracy?

I'm aware that honesty isn't your best suit, but please take the time to read my views on the subject. You'll find them earlier on the thread.

ooooh come on speeling and groomar error's that is really a bity peatty. i am just tapping, we can all run spell checks but i can not be fussed. Trying to run me pirate radio and keep an eye out for the peelers, plus my bees are acting strangely.

It's interesting that sky news are using language like " she was clearly remonstrating with the police men.." where as the STATE CONTROLLED BBC have been continually using language like "violently Abusing" "acting agressively towards" "verbally assaulting" all this language carefully considered and used to defend the police actions. Only since footage has emerged of a policeman slapping some one earlier which prompted the crowd and the woman to remonstrate has the BBC changed it's language and dropped the links to all the earlier STATE SLANTED propaganda.......

how about 15p a day and with it's independance back instead of 38p and the situation we have now. If those police where around when the BBC Staff where protesting about the sacking of Greg Dyke then half those Staff members would also have been Battoned !!!!!

I don't know AfN, if someone kept shouting "f*cking scum* in my face whilst agressively lunging at me, I would consider it "violently abusing", "acting agressively towards" and "verbally assaulting"

If anyone suggested that she was merely remonstrating with the policeman, they wouldn't be telling the truth.

I often wonder if those that accuse others of propaganda are actually the worst culprits.

mmmm er

"If anyone suggested that she was merely remonstrating with the policeman, they wouldn't be telling the truth. " actually they were all just standing there until one of the coppers mates shoved a guy over a wall and into a hedge, the fact that this group were trying to get to a vigil for a dead man made it all the worse and inflamatory. And no the people who peddle the propaganda are the worst culprits as it means they are doing something that they know is wrong in first place.

Sorry AfN, I may have been misunderstood, I suggested that I can hear more propaganda from you than I can hear from anyone else.

If the copper's mate pushed someone into a hedge (where did that story come from?), that gave her the right to attack someone else? I'm lost for words AfN.

Don't you think it's just childish, all this "fight fight, smash smash, kill kill, shit in ATM"?

Not propaganda - just unspinning the spin !

and no story - video footage my friend, and she did not attack anyone just remonstrated with him you can hear it on a new video that has been posted. It was the BBC that inserted (on request from state) the story that this lady was swearing.

yes i do think think that the state needs to stop all this smash smash, kill kill....!!!

Paul King, on behalf of the family, said: "First we were told that there had been no contact with the police, then we were told that he died of a heart attack; now we know that he was violently assaulted by a police officer and died from internal bleeding. As time goes on we hope that the full truth about how Ian died will be made known."

Oh my mistake ....The poor guy actually got beaten to death by the police in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world, there is no CCTV footage, all the actual footage has come from passers by as the BBC conveniently forgot to be around on the behest of Government. Then the police lie about it and bring in a pathologist who has twice been before the medical council once on a charge relating to a man who died in police cells and his report concluded that he was a crack user. Tests later showed he was not a drug user of any kind. The same pathologist also concluded that a woman found dead in a mans flat died of natural causes, when in fact she had been strangled, 3 weeks later the police arrest the guy who owned the flat when they found dismembered body parts all over Camden, turns out the guy was a serial killer! So in conclusion this is clearly a huge cover up only brought to light by investigative journalism from what's left of our free press. And Yes Hugeynought F****in scum they are.

    • I’m not an expert either but surely having that high of affordable housing would seem like a terrible investment. My guess is that they will pay southwark a fine then make the rest of it student housing too
    • For some strange reason, hubby likes to spend 'big' on family cards birthday and Christmas. I think it may have stemmed from his mother- she equated money with status and was a bit of a snob!  She was also quite eccentric - we asked for a suitcase one year and got a set of 4. One year she gave hubby the equivalent of a hearing aid - it was a device to hear bird song. Nobody we know send expensive cards. We have a twice yearly set of cards from the Foot and Mouth Painting Artists and have done for the last 30 plus years. I think they are around £12 for set of 10  - cannot remember what we paid this winter but they are fantastic value and beautiful paintings.  One of the best places around to buy cards is the Fair Trade Centre at Christ Church Barry Road. Fantastic selection with a starting price of £1.30.
