Can you put anyone on 'ignore'?

On another forum I visit, if there is a certain poster who annoys you, you can put them on 'ignore'. I am (a) not very techie and (b) haven't had to do it, so have no idea how it works, although I think it is something within their profile or your own.

Is this possible on this forum and if not, would it ever be possible in the future?

Unfortunately it is not possible, it is not a feature of the software that this forum is built on.

Guess it begs the question.... is there any plans to change the software platform that the forum is run on so users can do all these things?
