EDKiwi Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 Manuka is a native bush in New Zealand and tends to grow pretty much everywhere. I was stunned at the price of Manuka honey over here but then again the only stuff they seem to have in the supermarkets is this UMF stuff, which I guess you must get back in NZ too but generally Manuka honey is just nice honey that will set you back a couple of quid in the supermarkets. Personally I think this whole UMF thing is just a bit of a have to up the price.
