There is pre-loaded all the tools you'll need for multi-media editing.

The Unit is comprised of a Pentium 4 CPU 2GB ram seperate graphics card, 19" widescreen monitor with speakers, wireless mouse and keyboard.

Libre or open office is free to install and will be as good as the Microsoft products!!

@Dieter: op clearly stated that "This is a Linux based system so all programs are open source ". There's no Windows and no Office, this PC is run by Ubuntu Linux.

Thanks Hereandnow!! Dieter As above, There are two programs that this system will run, Open Office or Libre Office.

These are both compatible with the Microsoft formating as long as when you save you specify you're requirements I.E

.doc .docx these are the coding that any office program beyond 2003 (for .docx) .doc was the older pre-2003 version.
