Mike Tyson Caterpillars

My cat thoughtfully brought me a present in the middle of the night. It was about 3 inches long, and looked like a cross between caterpiller and maggot, had massive suckers for feet and moved like a worm. It was a dirty white colour with no other markings.(

Really really disgusting. Does anyone know what it was?

It is likely a Stag Beetle youngster

too rarely seen these days due to cats and suchlike

I am very squeamish and it was midnight so it was death by toilet. I thought it best as the cat may have mauled it too much (plus I couldn't think properly as inflicted with brain sleep paraylsis)

I feel very guilty now!
