ruffers
So - you've chosen to get rid of this thread where there's a lot rubbish being talked and where does rubbish go? And the Horniman is a place visited by lots of people again creates large amounts of rubbish. Congratulations! You got rid of the car. Peckhamgatecrasher
I'm with you Sue. I tried it last night too after consuming a schooner or two and it still didn't make sense. Moos
PGC, if you're thinking of the only-the-drunk-can-understand-the-drunk rule, my understanding is that it only applies to people who have been drinking together. If two people who have been drinking separately attempt to communicate the streams get crossed, and the universe explodes. Most unfortunate. Cassius
I just don't understand the comment in the OP - that the Horniman is so sparse and boring - or have I taken that out of context? The Horniman is a fantastic commodity that we have practically on our doorstep. Perhaps if the OP is so concerned she should contact the place directly or even the Friends to find out the veracity of the rumour. Peckhamgatecrasher
We're all doomed. To go back on topic, am I the only one who preferred the museum before it was tarted up? Peckhamgatecrasher
There's usually a greenman prancing about the precincts of Southwark Cathedral. Nice to see the church in touch with its pagan roots!
