Chocolate and beer should never be combined. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!!! And by that I mean even eating chocolate and then drinking beer is horrible. 2 things that my taste buds just do not want to mix.

I appreciate that my taste will be different to others'.

I've recently encountered - and very much enjoyed - chocolate beer, coffee beer, chilli beer and smoked beer (the best being the 'Dirty Stop Out' smoked oatmeal stout by Tiny Rebel Brewery of Wales). The more variety the better i say - my current fave is the Tiny Rebel 'Cwtch' - an amber/red ale with a bitter, spicy, malty and - yes - tropical fruity thing going on. Delicious.

Coincidentally I had one of these yesterday. Good flavour - but I'd go along with the complaints above that a lot of *strokes chin* 'craft' stuff is over-gassed.. and thought this one was as well.
