helicopter hover

I was woken up at 2am this morning by helicopter hovering. We live on ondine road and it was LOUD and lasted for 15 annoying minutes !!!

Anyone else heard it?

Yes I heard it too Ladysaw. I have a feeling it was one of those heat censor police jobs on the lookout for either a criminal or a drugs farm. The joys of having Peckham and Camberwell as neighbours.

Yes, and possibly been done before too. I couldn't help bandwagon jumping on it though. FYI I didn't fall for the gun thread, however, I loved the name of the forumits who created it though. Very slim pickings tonight in le lounge. It's times like this I wish I was free to run riot in general issues.

Hi, Louisa said police, but to my knowledge that was a chinook helicopter maybe even more than one which I thought were military based, not police! Could be wrong. Hope everyone gets back to sleep! :-D zzz...

yes louisa. I couldn't help but wake up as I'm a very light sleeper since September 2012 aka ( birth of my first born). My daughter still wakes up during the night so the one night she decided to sleep through the helicopter woke me up. typical!
