I hope we do as well as the last time we met The Hammers....was it 4/1 or 5/1...my memory needs to be refreshed:))

Question for You Quidsy me Son: Which Decade did West Ham last beat Millwall?:-$ ( I'll ignore the fact that you are, usually, in a higher division than South London's finest )..(tu)

...and all our strikers like Danny Dichio were injured so we had a 16-year-old on the pitch and we parked everyone behind the ball...

You only had a 16 year old on the pitch to beat the record of one Paul Allen, who was the previous youngest player in a Cup Final and a record held since 1980 which was also the last time a team not from the 2md tier beat a top flight team.....

now let me think who that was?

Oh, I Remember

West Ham 1 Arsenal 0 :)-D

He isn't a bad judge then!:))

Millwall will sell out their 40,000 allocation easily and one way or the other like The Q/Finals//Semi-Final at OLd Trafford and The Cup Final (Hospitality Box, don't you know) I will be there!!!

Last minute Winner for Wigan and Millwall took the Maximum 49,000 as Wigan did not sell out.

Same as Millenium Cup Final shame that Millwall did not turn up on the pitch(td)

Sorry about that Brum.......didn't realise any Millwall Fans still live in the area.

Lookat any Milwall Matchday Programme these days and it will say "The 10 Winners of this weeks raffle are

"Charlie from Bexley, Fred from Coulsdon, Ian from Edenbridge, Steve from Erith, Harry from Surbiton etc...

I'd have had my Chamberpot on them quicker than you can say "Come on you Irons"

That's a lot of fair weather supporters who don't go to The Den. In fact has there ever been a full house at the New Den?

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
    • That was one that the BBC seem to have lost track of.  But they do still have quite a few. These are some in their 60s archive. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0028zp6
