Do any of you follow a particular trend i.e rock, trendy, the dreaded 'Bromley boy' etc....? The reason I ask is because I'm sitting in here in a pair of ripped jeans and an old work t-shirt and I couldn't care less. I do however look awesome in the majority of my eclectic wardrobe in which ever combination. Sensible answers only.......who am I kidding......fire away.

P.s I never wear hats.

This is exactly the sort of thread that is sending regular forumites running for the door.In the name of God and all of his lovely saints and angels. Yet another of "those" threads. Really now Mr Wolf, how bored are you exactly? Do you have to start every single thought that occurs to you as a thread sweetie? The next time you dream up a thread like this sweetie, why don't you just raise your hand and place it over your mouth.

Where is all of the intelligent bantor gone from this forum? Where are all of the witty threads that we used to have on here?

If I throw a stick, will you leave?(realises that skirt is tucked into knickers, blushes and backs towards the door)

As I am a complete & utter moron who cant find a/the library/broadsheet/book/string together an appropriate response, I here by offer an "assembled montage" of anothers hand

This may come as a bit of a surprise Wolf but my mum is a not a fashion designer so this is actually a subject I'm not interested in. I see what you mean though.

God, this is as tiresome as Emily and her lower middle class, mass market brand drivel at the charidee shop.

Colanders are very cutting edge at the moment. Bloody kids always get the drop on us adults when it comes to fashion. Here I?ve been spending most of the last two weeks in a sieve.

I think perhaps it?s time for me to just give up and get myself some of those white trainers that are so popular with the polo playing community.

    • You'd need to get a proper quote (or three) for instance removing a cast iron bath is a very different job from removing an acrylic one. Again what pipe work will be being joined into - matching old imperial pipes with modern metric ones is different from like to like, as is dealing with a copper or an iron distribution system. The amount (area) of retiling required is an issue, as will be the state of the wall behind the tiles. It may of course all be very plain sailing, or not. Have a first look at plumber recommendations on the relevant pages on this site. If it's all easy then 3 days work may be sufficient. But it could be a week if there are snags.
    • Hi. Can anyone suggest a plumber for the job below? Replace bath tub with a shower enclosure, putting pipes to showerhead behind wall, re-titling damaged/removed tiles Also any idea of the costs involved for the labour as we will buy the items required?
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
