*shudders*

Years ago when I was at uni I had a girlfriend from Liverpool. She came to London for the first time in the Christmas break. We went to Oxford Street and she spent 3 hours, that's THREE FECKIN HOURS in Top Shop! I wanted to die.

This is a pretty cool place with it's own burger place in old diner car.

I'm 16 and I like to go to Covent Garden (Whittards, Moomin Store, Rockit) if I'm shopping, as well as Tottenham Court Rd (Big Paperchase, Tiger, Muji) and Oxford Street Lush is 3 floors. Otherwise walk along the Southbank or IMAX cinema. There's also V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum if they like that.
Can I assume you are doing the 'usual' touristy things as well? I have my 16 year old nephew here currently (from Germany) and he and the resident 17 year old have walked across tower bridge and around the tower. They went to Covent Garden and Oxford St to a number of shops - had decent lunches at yo-sushi and a bbq place. Apparently all good so far. He also likes the Natural History and Science Museum. Not interested in any art museums.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
