Geting to Heathrow

Does anyone know approx. how long it would take to get to Heathrow airport on a Saturday afternoon?

1 hour 32 mins according to the thetrainine.com East Dulwich-London Bridge-Paddington-Heathrow. And that allows an hour to get from London Bridge to Paddington by tube.

About 60 minutes and ?35.00 by taxi - which reduces the hassle factor considerably.

who does ?35 taxis?

I would go victoria - district line to south ken - pic. line to heathrow - so much cheaper and only 20-30mins more than a cab

Sorry, I should have been clearer - I meant if travelling by car. 60 mins it would seem.

Thanks Jeremy. Their Gatwick prices seem a bit all over the place though. Cheaper from W10 than from SE15.

How strange! I've only ever used them for Heathrow - for Gatwick I take the train or drive.

How do you go to Gatwick if you do the train? From Victoria or do you go to East Croydon?

I always used to go via East Croydon, but I think this has been scrapped now - that's progress for you. Not sure if there's another viable route without having to go via London Bridge or Victoria... maybe best to theck http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
