I searched the forums a while ago looking for a recommended plasterer to no avail, so went hunting for one through a locally recommended builder instead. Jack (07877 805665 / [email protected]) came out to my flat on relatively short notice, and did a fantastic (and quick!) job of plastering the space left by the removal of an old electric fireplace. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and will definitely be using him again in the future myself.

  They have to balance the buyer's wish and getting a swift sale, but yes at the end of the day they will take a small hit. But this is the nature of the market and a case to move to a better system rather than demonise estate agents.
