Picture of a cat on facebook page so assume pussy?

I actually find the name really offensive.

Why exactly is that funny and clever? Is there any council or landlord regulation? I could understand it if there was some clever reference but unless I'm missing something.... it is a restaurant. Which has chosen to name itself after the arousal fluid from a woman. That is not really the kind of thing I like to think about when going out for a meal. It also seems a really unnecessary attempt to be.... what? Controversial?

Really dislike it, really hope they change the name, certainly won't be going in there unless they do. I'm tired enough of the pornification of ordinary life without it seeping into posh sodding pop-up restaurants.

Did you know that definition before, or did you have to look up the urban dictionary in order to find out if you should be terribly offended?

its not exactly hard to interpret what something pronounced as 'pussy licker' means, urban dictionary definition added just to avoid the 'maybe that isn't what they mean' comments.

Very try hard, very tiring, and I hope its just a stunt in advance of opening as I can't imagine it increasing their footfall - if I walked past that name without knowing what it was, I would not be assuming 'innovative pop-up restaurant.'

    • If you’ve got four quid spare, go and try one. Myself, I like the mozzarella and spinach, but there’s no accounting.

    • You might want to try the Peckham Facebook community group. I am located in East Dulwich & have 2 well-used scratchers: A large single post (ideal for an adult cat) & a small cat tree with 2 short posts (ideal for kittens) While the wear & tear is nowhere near as bad as the one shown in the link below, ideally the sisal should be replaced to get the best use out of it (& neutralise the scent of another cat) hence why I haven't donated these to a shelter. You may find this link helpful: https://thegreenmadhouse.com/diy/how-to-repair-your-cat-scratcher But you can just get a brand new one between £10-£30 on Amazon that'll last much longer. It all depends on what type of scratcher you're looking for; material, size, vertical or horizontal. Your little lion will let you know by whether they're currently scratching down or up, like a mat or armchair for example. More than happy to send location & leave in front garden for pickup.
    • Would happily take it off your hands! Preferably in Peckham. Thanks 🙏🏻
