Cadburys chocolate bars

Is it just me or are the average size of the likes of Wispa, Flake, Twirl, Dairy Mill all that little bit smaller now? Bought a pack of four flakes at the pound shop thinking it was a bargain. Got them home only to be disappointed by the ridiculous size of the bar. Down it in one!

Often multipack ones ate smaller. Did the same thing the other day buying 4 Twirls from Tesco only to find they're about two-thirds the size of an individual one.

I'm fairly sure it's a tactic to make you think you are paying the same price for the same thing. When in fact, you're not.

Maybe it is related to the penguins theory- where the government has decided you should only be allowed to have so many calories in a "snack" so they reduced the size of a penguin to comply with 130 calories?

The more you eat them the fatter your hands get and the smaller they look as you push fistfuls into your shout piece.

All the multipack chocolates are very small, not just in pound shops, in the supermarkets. I bought a three pack of mars for ?1 ... they teens !

Mars, Snickers etc definitely were made smaller relatively recently. Wouldn't be surprised if Cadburys did the same...

Worst thing Cadbury's caramel??!! I think it's f**ing delish. Agreed with comment above about chocolate in the US being awful though. Don't know why it's so bad, ever tried 'reeces pieces' or a Hershey bar? Dreadful

A Cadbury caramel is not something you deploy without thinking for sure but it's a heavy hitter. North Americans are always impressed with a Lion Bar....and a Star Bar is also a good choice.

Cadburys chocolate is delicious... yes its sickly and milky and fatty... that's what i like. You can take your 85% cocoa single estate nonsense and shove somewhere REALLY dark!

Twirls are my favourite.

And Cadbury's easter eggs are easily the best.

Yeah, it sounds familiar AM... but I think the debate was about other ingredients (vegetable fat?) rather than milk.

I just have a sweet tooth... most dark chocolate is too bitter for me, and I can't drink coffee without sugar.

If anyone gets half a chance to pop down the world food aisle in the nearest tesco extra (probably Surrey quays) you have to try Cadbury's Cherry Ripe (Australian). It's bloody amazing.

I agree, nothing beats the taste of Dairy Milk. Gorgeous stuff.
