Found and returned home: young cat tabby with white paws and chest

Young cat very friendly but thin and wanting a home just shot into our house and wants to stay. A neighbour said the cat had cried at their window all night till she let it in and fed it.

She can't take it and not can we. Anyone recognise it? Melbourne grove and Colwell rd area.

Hello Gracie - that's wonderful news. Am hoping we are all talking about the same cat (here's a pic). I would be really relieved to hear that this cat has found its way home, as unfortunately it was frightened by my neighbour's dog yesterday (just after I posted) and rushed off in the direction of Colwell Road and I haven't seen it since.

Yes that's the same cat, he lives across the rd from me , he wander a bit too far and I found him in a garden on colwell rd today

Hi - not sure if this is relevant i.e. if he is lost again, but I have just seen him trying to run into someones house on Melbourne Grove / Dudrich Mews; curious why he didn't have a collar.

If it is the cat then he lives on the corner of Melbourne grove and chesterfield grove but he seems to wander in search of company, he is really friendly but sometimes goes a bit too far and can't get home again

He followed my housemate home from the train station.

Then ran in to the house, is there an owner or does anyone know the owner so we can repatriate the cat..

As lovely and friendly as he is we can't keep him!
