I'm thinking of entering the above next year. I've never done a triathlon so I wondered if anyone had done this one and if so would they recommend it, or are there others that are more suitable for first timers? Also, can I compete topless so that I can get a tan and are there many fat bottomed girls who compete in it ?

It's a fantastic beginners tri at Hampton Court, pool swim and flat bike ride. I've done it a couple of times (as well as others) and I love it. I could even offer you a lift if you like. There are people of all levels, breast strokers people on hybrids and mountain bikes as well.

It's always worth just doing one asap and I bet you are hooked enough not to wait for next year for your next!
