Poor Postie - what a shameful, cowardly thing to do. I hope he gets better quickly and I really hope the scumbags are caught and banged up.

I spoke to one of our postmen today, apparently our 'usual' postie is on crutches after being clipped by a car while he was chasing the muggers who took his bag - it turns out he didn't hear them coming up behind him because he had earphones on. Anyway apart from the crutches he is, relatively speaking, alright.

Nasty! I was also once clipped by a car while chasing a kid who snatched my phone (on Grove Vale), so I sympathise.

It sounds like the postman will be OK, which is good to hear.
